Mac Question

I have a friend (who I am trying to teach him sketch up) Who uses a Mac.
However he wants to add plugins (such as fredo6 curve tool) but doesent know how to add them for the mac. Is there anyway some one can instruct me so I can help him with this? -
just put them at:
HD/Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 7/SketchUp/plugins -
I tried but it didnt work...

Are they unzipped?
Have you added some simple ones like weld that have worked?

No i am not that bad

I am just not a mac user I have tried a few of fredo's plugins but nothing is working...

Well if you have managed to put files in right place, i would check under tool palettes and see if listed.
If not go to preferences and make sure checked.
Then check what location you chose for tool to be at.
