    Hide object but still have it cast a shadow?

      Anyone have any ideas how I can hide an object but still have it cast a shadow?

        Search for a similar thread - where I showed how to use a completely transparent png as a texture for the material on all faces - you then also hide the edges in the object [group/component] and then you can't see it at all, but it casts a shadow...
