      Ok here we go

Im having probelms with omni lights
As you can see in the render I have posted. The omni lights inside the building work.
I took the same omni lights out of the building and place them over the garden lights in the bottom left corner.
      But nothing happens]!!!!!!
Im sure Im missing something really simple. But just cant figure it out.

This is my first exterior using lights.

      Im using the latest Vray

      Thnks for any help

Is it by any chance trapped inside some geometry?

The graphical representation of the omni-light is misleading - it is not a sphere at all. It's simply light emitted from a single point in the centre of that sphere object.
So if that centre point is inside your plant geometry it'll never be seen.
