It's me again. I want to try some rendering and was wondering what is the best rendering application for me. I want a free renderer and one that is easy to use/get used to. Thanks in advance.

      Free and easy to use....

Most renderers provide a free version with certain limitations, output size/watermarks etc. So I'd recommend you try them all.

Podium and Twilight are integrated directly into SU and are easy to get to grips with. But that doesn't mean you'll be knocking out quality renders sooner. It means you'll be able to apply settings with ease. Understanding the nuances of rendering is a much longer learning curve.

Kerkythea is free but has a higher learning curve.

The list goes on and on and on...

I use Twilight (badly!) I find it great. Their forum is great and it's based on Kerkythea's Engine.

        hi there,
        i'm new bie in here,,
at the first time i use render engine, i tried supodium.
It's simple and looks good for me as a new renderer. My friend told me to try kerkythea for free engine. So i tried it. Now i still use it for my job and for fun. It's complicated but " best" engine (so far) for me. you can see my galery at http://www.binstudio.blogspot.com .
        thanks ,,, 😎

          Podium FTW!
ITs really simple and easy to use.

          Twilight is very...uhh complicated.

IDX Render is pretty good, but the free version is uber-bad.
