First, does VRay support SketchUp section cuts? I'm thinking not, since my SU is frozen trying to render one.

Second, how do people render section cuts? Do you physically cut your model? That's distructive and time-consuming with a very complex model. Any other ways?

      Thanks.

VfSU does not support section cuts.

        Should not do this however.

Yes, you must make a copy of your model and slice it up. There are some plugins you can use for this if you look in the plugins section.
