Vray Lighting Issues...a.k.a.- "Help please"
-
Hello. I'm new, and trying to render an exterior perspective.. having issues with lighting. 1: default.visopt is the only one that renders fast enought for a reasonable scaled image. all others take tooooo long and never finish,.. even though my pc is new and fairly powerful. 2. I can't seem to set the lighting down. I keep getting VERY harsh light where it looks like my images are next to the sun.. too much glare and no quality. 3. I cant seem to get my glass material to have that perfect glass glare to make it look like it has a reflection.. i keep messing with the transparency but that doesn't do it. Any tweeks or help? Please explain in lamen terms since I might not get it..

You've placed lights inside the building?
What kind? How many? What light unit? What light intensity? Are you using Physical camera? Are the lights set up to be used with physical camera?

THATS JUST IT Im in sketchup, and I dont remember placing any lights inside, but it i did by accident, how can I find out? cuz if i put one on 1 floor, i copy pasted all the floors about, so it must have doubled all those lights as well.. can I find a layer for just lights? if so, how are they labled? i just wanna get rid of them. As for the camera, I dont see any tools to "set the view". I placed a view in the exterior, but under the camera feature, it simply has view NEXT and PREVIOUS view.. its not like in Rhino where you can Place a camera in the screen.. or is it?

You can use the Outliner and search for V-Ray lights. If you type in "V-Ray" you will see any instances of lights.
