Is there a script that can be used in combination with one of helix scripts to make an auger?

Got a picture of what you have in mind and what shapes in it are most troublesome?

Lately you've been tan, suspicious for the winter.

          Hi Chris:

I was thinking of drawing section of a fin, produce a helix, and a line defining the centerline of the shaft (or simply use an SU axis) and have the "tip" of the fin section revolve along the helix path.

Perhaps a second script to draw the tappered threads of a screw.

                Hi Jeff,

Have you tried the screw.rb or k-tools?

I asked a long time ago how to make a screw thread?
                and got some great suggestions.

                Just a thought?

Sorry John, you got the wrong guy - I was the only one who did not submit an attempt πŸ˜„ Was it Jeff's or rclub's that you were refering to.

Reclub: The screw script seemed to work (a bit quirky though). I did one revolution, made it into a component, and then made adjacent duplicates.

Jeff: I'm not sure how you used Extrude Edges by Rail. Could you diagram your method?

                        Thanks, John
