Organic shape

hi, i'm new here and i need some help.
I'm an interior student and currently having a project right now.
i'm making a modern tree-concept for my project, it's not literally wood-trees. the material i use is steel rod reinforced concrete.
the shape of this modern tree will somehow connected to ceiling, to floors and it will form a space which people can interact inside, which means, they are all connected, between the ceiling, the pillar, the tree itself, and the floors.I had this all idea in my had but i do not know how to make it in sketchup, i tried to watch tutorials in youtube but it's just not enough.
Please help me out. i really appreciate it.
Thank you -
Any example images of something at least similar - you 'word-picture' is a bit blurry...

Do you have a hand-drawn sketch of the design concept that you can post? Otherwise it's going to be difficult for anyone to suggest any modelling techniques/solutions.

At the lower part of the 'Post a Reply' screen is 'Upload Attachment' tab Browse to the image desired and hit 'Add File', wait for it to load, you can then 'Place in Line' as I just did...
You can attach many 'types' of files [e.g. .jpg or .png] - and those you are not allowed to attach directly you can always make into a zip or rar archive first, which are also acceptable formats - if you upload a SUp '.skp' file it's a good idea to also attach a png screen-shot so we know what to expect when we open it.
You can also preview your post and even edit it later it it's not quite as you would like it to be... -
Sounds like a cool project, can't wait to see a rough...
btw, I vote 'word-picture is a bit blurry' for the euphemystic metaphor of the month-award
