could anyone out there check this file in autocad to fix it?
did you mean to attach the dwg file as well?

Have you checked the origin of the DWG and the insertion points of the blocks? Thinks turn weird when they are too far away from Origin.
i have had problems before when checking the preserve origin option so this time i did not check it.

oops - I did not mean to check the checkbox in the options - I mean inspecting that the coordinates in the DWG was fine.

- delete all hatch
- purge
-
Ah - you got that DWG from someone else?
But is there no freeware that let you open DWGs on mac and do some basic cleaning up?At the office when I import DWGs I always copy just want I want into a fresh DWG and move everything to Origin. Then Purge the DWG. It's the safest method I know. If I don't do that then all sorts of gremlins appear when importing to SU.

Ed, Attached is a dxf (change extention from txt to dxf) that you can import into SU (origin unchecked). It has all the components, and 3d features preserved corectly. You can explode and edit as you see fit.
