Hi
Check your model info window see below
Here you'll 'Statistics' option on the left and info of Groups/Components/Faces etc., on the right
-
hello thanks for the fast reply bud that isnt the thing i was looking for i have a drawing with about 1*** the same parts in it and some other part that i also have in the thousend bud aint there a plugin the can calculate those?? its actualy a note at the end like one part need to be 50x100 and that 1000 times some plugin that can calculate and scan the same parts

I'm having difficulty understanding your problem
-
you have a model which has +1000 components and each components has +1000 nested components
-
you need a plugin which will look for similar components of certain sizes
-
-
well 1000 is just a number i said it will prob about 100 lol bud its more to know how manny times i need to make that part when im on a machine that i have one paper with all the things i need on it like that part i need it euhm 100 times for example and another one 200 you know ?

You need to create a Cut List from all your modelled components which detail all the sizes and dimensions on one(or two or three pages)
Am i correct?

File -> Generate Report... -
that's Pro Only in SU7.1, do you know if it's available SU6 free?
Also i thought Tig made a script a few weeks ago that was associated with this or am i losing my marbles?
-
You could open Component dialog > Rt Click > Select Instances then check Entity Info to see how many are selected. It won't work for nested components though...
-
Can't help you with your marbles I'm afraid - still looking for my own. Thought I saw one, but it was a pea...

Search for ComponentReporter++ ?
