    Stop object from following cursor when using move?

      The title says it all, is it possible to stop the object your moving from following the cursor? Im trying to move one object (component). The problem is I can't anchor it to the corner because the object is blocking my view and it wount attach to the background..

      This is a rather serious issue when you want to be accurate and have rather tight spots to operate in. I tried googling the answer and searching these forums but it seems nobody has found this annoying enough, so here I am. 😐

          Hi shazbot, go in X-ray mode in order to view through your component (see the picture below) and check if the component is glued. If so: right click-->unglue.
