I'm drawing a cabinet, which has 3 shelves in it. When I close in the geometry to create the shelves, it also creates a face on the back of the cabinet between the shelves, which blocks the view into the cabinet, is there away I can erase the face. I am fairly new at this, but as a toolmaker, I do have experience with 3D drawing and programming, and am having a great time with this software. Thanks for your help ❓

Use 'Select' tool (spacebar) to select the face and press delete key

          or

right click face with 'Select' tool and choose 'Erase'

          or

hover over face with 'Move' tool (m) and press delete

as you can see there are many ways to erase faces but there is also many ways to prevent the face that you gonna delete from appearing in the first place

if you are new to this I'd recommend Aidan Chopra's YouTube Channel as your first Pitstop. Then I suggest to get his book 'SU for Dummies.

Finally post your problems here as there are great advisors and a friendly community

Many thanks for the quick replies, it worked like a charm, I had been fighting this problem for a while. I'm sure I will have other issues to deal with, as I learn more, but I will be looking for the answers here. I did take a quick look at the Aidan Chopra Tutorials on You Tube & they look very helpful, I guess I'll have to break down and buy the Dummies book too. πŸ˜„
