          Actually, if the main support cables are cut, the entire main span would collapse. The approaches may or may not remain depending on their length. (in this case, the damaged approaches are valid) The usual depiction of damaged suspension bridges are to destroy the roadway, but keep the main cables anchored.

          That said, it is a very impressive model, matte and render! Wow!

            Actually no, with the current state of damage, and available support and tension, the roadway would pull up.
