      Hi,two more from me:

First off - this bridge illustration. Real rush-job on this one - client wanted it 'yesterday'. About 2hrs total. Working from a supplied photo I built a quick SU extension, before painting over with ArtRage and Photoshop.

      bridge_002.jpg

And second, another quick one. No photos this time, just a rough SU model and painting...

      thanks for looking,

      A>

Good work, however, the bridge support cables would pull up this side of the roadway since there is no support there, assuming the other side is still somewhat attached.

          😲 Wow ! I think it's a great job considering your deadline...
Would you consider writing a quick tut on your matte painting techniques sometimes ? ❓

awesome! 😍 The bridge pic reminds me of the 2012 movie.

Actually, if the main support cables are cut, the entire main span would collapse. The approaches may or may not remain depending on their length. (in this case, the damaged approaches are valid) The usual depiction of damaged suspension bridges are to destroy the roadway, but keep the main cables anchored.

That said, it is a very impressive model, matte and render! Wow!

Actually no, with the current state of damage, and available support and tension, the roadway would pull up.

                            I'm going with his opinion.

Besides that, these are masterpieces, especially the bridge kept my breath saved for a bit longer πŸ˜›

                            Grats ^^

The bridge looks like the bridges in I am Legend, after the fighterjets blow them up. πŸ˜†

                                They look awesome, your pics!

You are right. However, the main span should also be collapsed and only the approaches would pull up. πŸ€“
