hello, I search a plugin that would allow me to right click, to restore to any object the power to pick another REGLUE. Someone with a plugin or is there a plugin like that do not bear that name? thank you 😉

i suggest you write 'request' rather than 'plugin' - the latter is for when you are posting a script.

DJMX1, are you referring to changing the gluing plane for a component after it has been made? If so, it can already be done without a plugin. You can change the gluing status by clicking on the edit tab. And by selecting Change Axes in the context menu, you can change the location of the gluing plane.

I think what he rather means is that while we have a context menu item to "unglue" a component (or group), if it is unglued accidentally, you cannot reglue it.

An example; you have a façade of a building with lots of window components glued on it and they also cut holes. If you accidentally erase the face they are glued on and redraw it, the components will not get reglued on this new face and won1t cut hole either - i.e. you will need to replace every instance again. Rather annoying I can believe.

I see. Well, then, DJMX1, ignore my suggestion. Sorry.

I wrote a script called reglue.rb that you can find at the ruby library depot. It's specific to my own needs, but perhaps you can adapt it to yours. In my case, the object you are gluing to is the parent of the component being reglued.

thank you. I try reglue plugin but it does not work, but actually the order I seek is that of picking up an object by mistake ... 😢

I also wrote a re-glue script: you select ONE face the components to re-glue onto it and run the tool - they are glued to the face ? Is that what you want ? http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?p=349699#p349699 [moved to own thread]
