[Plugin][$] RoundCorner - v3.4a - 31 Mar 24
-
How large do you think I'd need to work? I generally work in a foot equals an inch scale to create the fine details I need.
Thanks for the help.
-
Hard to tell without seeing your model.
-
Would it be possible to optimize the rounding to work better with quads? I noticed that it splits the quad triangulation, instead of generating new quads and the resulting faces are really weird looking (with diagonals going across two faces, as a result of the former quad triangulation)
Cheers!

None at all? How far down the main post did you look before you gave up? It's clearly identified.

And... the SketchUcation PluginStore - linked off the menu above - contains virtually all of the Plugins/Extensions mentioned across many threads in these forums...
So that should be your starting point whenever you are looking to download anything...
Also it has excellent search functions on its page...As Fredo mentioned in his tool's first page [see the image pasted by Dave]... if you first download and install the SketchUcation PluginStore Toolset [RBZ], available in the Resources menu above, OR now as v3.0.0 in the PluginStore itself, under Author '- SketchUcation -' [first on the list], then that has a dialog which lets you browse the PluginStore [getting re-badged as the ExtensionStore³] from within SketchUp itself, and then AutoInstall selected tools...
It also has lots of other goodies like Update notifiers, Bundles, Managers etc - read up on it... -
Thank you!

The information is provided in the first post of this thread and again, most recently in the post the second and third posts above yours.

I have two problems with the latest version (installed on SU2015 x64)
-
Round corner: The offset value is displayed but not recognized by the plugin if it is entered using the TAB-Key. I need to re-open the function to make it active. If i use the toolbar field it is working.
-
Bevel edges: There is a smoothing issue with beveled geometry. After beveling i always need to fix the smoothing.

Thanks for signaling this bug. Easy to fix.

What is the problem exactly? which edges are you referring to ?

The edges are showing up correctly (hard edges) but the shading is messed up in display and rendering.
I have to use the smoothing controls after the beveling and set it to hard egdes again to get this fixed. -

I don't know. I can only say that there is something different to the normal hard edges. The shading is wrong (soft). And i think this problem is new. I never noticed this in older versions.

Could it be related to "cast-shadow" ?
-
Sorry, i don't understand. Which "cast-shadow"?

I've just installed this plugin in SU 2016, on iMac 5K Retina running El Capitan (OS X v 10.11.3).
The dialogue box is incredibly small and hard to read on this high res-screen. Is there any way of making it bigger?
The overall height of your dialogue is only about 8mm, and the text less than 2mm high.
The screen shot (attached) seems to make it look a bit bigger, but in reality I need a magnifying glass to read it!
PS. Sorry again - I've only just seen earlier posts on this subject. Will see if the suggestions there help.
PPS. Checking the Retina box in the Default Parameters dialogue helps, but only enlarges the boxes and icons, not the text
Seems that there are general problems with very high res displays for SketchUp, not yet fully resolved, though there are partial workarounds.

This is a gem. Though I treated myself to a 5k mac and the button pallet is too small to read at 5k so I have to change the resolution of my mac to use this. Is their some setting for button pallet size?

Look at the first post of the thread. The link is right out in plain sight.
