Glass Challenge (all render engines)

cool idea, let's see how far my rendering 'skills' will get me with this

so we provide our own model, right? not a specific glass model....

The idea is realism, glass, reflection, refraction, caustics, etc.

P.S :and yes i know i made champagne glass ..but should have made the bubbles and all and the color is hard to achieve ...so yeah a glass of champagne filled with wine

middel glass: wine
right glass: water
left glass: some blueish drink hahahaha

very nice...one critic: the base foot is too tiny imo...it s almost flat

actually Eulgrand, your render was the one which inspired me to get into this challenge....really great work.

Hey Rachid, that's very nice of you

Your red wine looks far better than mine. I like the slight sepia tone of the first picture. The composition of the 2 glasses behind is a bit disturbing (at first I thought there was one glass floating...). I would let them up, so that we could figure the refraction through the ones at the front of the scene.
The view angle of the second picture should allow us to see more caustics, but I guess you've been using large light sources too, so we can't relly see them.

As per your blueish liquid... I'd give it a try to unclog the toilets

Thought I'd give it a shot with a few random items from FormFonts and 3D Warehouse...
Needs more time to cook, but my computer wasnt doing anything for a couple of hours. No-one mention the gravity defying wine in the bottles plz
