Rendered using a global from sIBL Archive.
Preset 20 - Metropolis Light Transport (BPT) / 150 passes
Still a bit grain, some of it removed with Neat Image.
Once again, missed the caustics

Exactly...
To me that just looks like reflected light. Not caustics. This is what I expect from caustics: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caustic_(optics

But I'm well aware about what caustic is all about...
And It sure isn't reflected light in that render... -

What I say is that it's caustic I see in the render Eulgrand posted and not just light reflections... -
I'm trying to work out what is the cautic effect in it. ...oooh... wait. is it in the shadow on the right side of the glass furthest in the back? Looking now it looks like some light in the middle of it. A very very faint effect?

Sorry. That wasn't irony. I actually noticed it while I was typing up a question. I guess I should have edited the first bit. Didn't mean to come across as a jerk.

I think the reason why the caustics are that weak is because the scene is lit by HDR.
Sun light would definitely show more caustics imo.
