        Hey Rachid, I'm not sure what the problem is. It sounds like a similar bug others have experienced when they had a old version of component spray installed. Any chance you have component spray installed recently?

          actualy yes, i recently installed it, because i really needed for a project, but i did not know there where another version of component spray...

            Yup, the newest version is located here:

            It has a few improvements, and fixes the this bug. Specifically what it was doing was interfering with Progressbar. So any script that used progressbar is broken if you have the bad version of Component Spray installed.

            But get the new version and it should all be working smoothly. Well, as smoothly as shape bender can work, its a bit buggy 😄

              Hi just wondering if you can help me, I have installed the shape bender several times and still getting the same problem where it wont let me select the line. I have made my box a group, click on the shape bender and then it wont let me continue. I have tryed redrawing the red line, I have reset my axis but still having no luck. Please help

                Yeah, please set up a file with the the component, curved line and straight line so it is ready to bend, then upload it here. I'll check it out and see if I can get it to work. Then we'll see where to go from there,

                    Hmm, it worked for me just fine. Select the component, start the tool. The cursor changes a little bit. Hover over the straight line until it turns blue, then click on it. Then click on the curve and it should start processing. It takes about 30 seconds to process on my computer is all.

                    So. How far into that process can you get? Does the cursor change when you try to activate the tool?

                      no it doesnt change it just says please select the line on the red axis and wont let me select the line.

                        Would you please open the ruby console in Window > Ruby Console.

                        Then run shape bender. See if that window shows any errors. Please copy the entire text and past it back here. Hopefully it will be giving you some odd error that I can see and fix.

                                  ditto situtation like dverger.... happens with me too..... i've checked all my files but the problem still persists... the plugin keeps on searching but nothing happens....

                                    I have the progressbar in french (fr_progressbar.rb) so I copy this one in progressbar.rb and that's run.

                                      It's the name of the file it's trying to load fr_ progressbar.rb !
                                      Still doesn't fix the other some files in the wrong folder possible problems...

                                            all my files are in the correct place, no the plugin tab has disappeared from the top of sketchup. Still having no joy
