Anybody know of any more info on the Vray Two Sided and Vray for SketchUp Two Sided Materials? The manual is seriously lacking in that department. πŸ˜’
Add Angular Blend to my request.

What exactly are you needing to know and do you have any images to support what you are trying to achieve?

I've not sued that material type myself, but here's some links to the ASGVis's forum which talks about it:

Doesn't use two-sided, but do talk about thin translucent materials.

Thanks Thomas, I will look those over.

Dzine, I am merely looking for more info on the subject. The manual goes into detail and examples on many other aspects of Vray but only briefly mentions Vray Two Sided Materials, Vray for SketchUp Two Sided Materials and Angular Blend.

Is there something with the AngularBlend material that's unclear?

I'm not aware of any. Might some more on the ASGVis forum...
Though I gotto say, I'm not quite sure what the purpose of the VRayDoubleSided and VRaySkpDoubleSided materials are. They don't seem to offer much from regular material. Except one of them which has the colour filter which makes the backside texture transparent so you see the frontside texture. ...can't say I see the immediate use of it...

Oh by the way Scott, could you investigate the DefinitionObserver as well? I've tried to use the onComponentInstanceAdded and onComponentInstanceRemoved events but they never trigger. Does these work for you?

Thanks Thomas. This is the kind of thing I like to find out, like whether or not I need to invest time in learning how to use it or not or.
