You can upload it to an image hosting site (like photobucket) and then link it to here using the [img]URL%20here[/img] tag.

            I am using imageshack.us
but I assume it works the same way. once you have uploaded an image you will get some links. either take one of those (the one without any brackets and stuff) or you right-click on the image, choose properties and then copy the image path.

then, in a post press the "Img" button above the text window and paste your link between the brackets.

try it here. thats the right place (and not like me, who tried it in a gallery thread) πŸ˜„

Once youve uploaded a photo to photobucket you should get a little white box under the pic with some text in the form [img]a%20URL[/img]. If you copy and paste that in to a post here it will show up in your post.

If you quote this post you'll be ale to have a look at what i mean. Check out the next line for an example.

it looks like youve only got the first part of the URL, it should be an entire web address (ending with .jpg) that you put between the tags.

Dolf when posting an image you just need: [img]linkhere[/img]
I notice you have [img][IMG] and your link does not seem to be correct.

it should be in that format when you type it in to the reply box.

To see if what you have in the reply box will show up as expected use the Preview.

If the photo shows then well done, now click the Submit, if not then you have fluffed something, try again.

i also use photobucket. i tried to post 1024px wide pictures here but they get cropped on wide screens. so i always make 800px wide copies for the purose of posting here.

one word of caution. be careful not to remove the picts posted here from where they are kept so that the links do not get broken.
