      I'd like to be able to save material assignment states within scenes.Just like in max.

        I'm not with Google. But I'm curious as to what you mean by your request. What is it you want exactly?? I don't have that other program you mentioned.

          It's like savin' a scene but in addition it'd save material\block assignment+ other technical information.
          Now I think it'd better NOT to link it to specific scene.

          P.S. Saving named selection states would also be nice.

            this could be part of a huge animation plugin for SketchUp - with dynamic blending of colour/texture during playback... πŸ˜›
