I would say so. That seems to be a killer whale but if so, way too big for real.
Cool one however. -

hmm... doesn't Orcas always have a big white area at their lower front part of their body, extending to the mouth?

What's worse about that 2nd pic is that tape is referred to as speed tape!
The most used tool in aircraft maintenance
-
There's really nothing wrong with using that tape as they did there. That's what it is made for. It's people who don't know about legitimate methods of airframe repair who blow photos like that out of proportion. That photo shows the flaps extended. Most of that tape wouldn't be exposed during most of the flight anyway.

Ah I love wit XD
Made my day -
Umm, where's the 'wit'? I think he was being serious. What is the problem with using duct tape to cover something up on a plane wing. Maybe it was only temporary?
Did you know there are planes whose entire outer surface is a cotton material? Duct tape might actually be stronger than the shell material
While agree there is probably a better fix than the duct tape, duct tape was developed during WWII for fixing ammo cases, jeeps, and yes, airplanes. Even NASA has used it in outerspace. So maybe using a little patch on the wing of plane is not that bad.
-
Yep - Seems duct tape actually DOES have a wide variety of uses. I have a roll in my car - well just incase.
