      Take your time, I can wait 'till next week. the size is no problem, I have a gmail mailbox. It would be an honor to render this. If possible could you mail textures seperate as well as in model as i would like to prepare the bumps and specular maps?

            I'm not sure what what is old... just kidding but that's the point, new structures taking the que from the old in their form... but making better use of space or view.

            and then there is your modeling... fantastic! the detail is superb... simple, elegant... as usual, great job.

              Thanks, This is just the existing streetscape, the proposal is still being designed. I've already done 5 versions from a simple block model to an 'almost' working design but until the design is signed off I cant really show it.

                Did an animation last night, 2700 Tiff's at 2048x1536 totalling 15.8Gb!! It only took about 9 hours.

                I'm squeezing them into an avi at the moment and I'll post a version on YouTube in a bit.

                  Here you go, one animation.
                  It has that damn shadow flashing as the camera passes through the shadow of the street lights but other than that its OK for a WIP.

                        Paul, that is really looking great. Do you animate on a path?

                        What do you have for equipment? Only 9hrs! Do you think there is an exporting time difference between .jpg and .png? How many scene tabs do you have for this project so far. I think I've realized that I need more scene tabs. When I made the scenes longer in Premiere, that was when things started getting jumpy. Do you think that's what it is?

                            Wow...Great work! Excellent textures and spot on details in the model. And you worked from photos and no plans...thats incredible!

                            I just watched your ani...great job! I hate what Youtube does to the clarity of uploaded content ๐Ÿ˜ž . I bet it looks unbelievable played directly on a computer ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

                              There were 47 scenes
                              2048x1536 PNG
                              Frame rate at 15 F/S
                              It took about 24hrs to export from SU. Does that seem long or is that about normal?

                              Your tutorial helped me so much while I was developing the animation. I'm looking forward to the next steps {hint, hint}

                                      Hi Paul, great work!

                                      I was wondering if you could elaborate a bit on how you do your roads. Are all of the street markings modeled, textured, and lines hidden? Did you use some sort of a ruby for laying down all the dashed lines?

                                      I am very impressed with the level of detail; it is just beautiful.
