      Coen,

      Since you asked...

When I logged in this afternoon the opening layout seemed a little stark to me. A little too much blue in the subject headings for my taste. I'd vote for slightly increased use of colors in earth tones... browns, beiges, tans, umbers. Perhaps more of a very light parchment color for the background rather than the bright white.

      My 2 cents.

      Fred

Actually, I was voting for the darker every-other-one light-blue post background I thought I noticed today (I don't particularly like the darker blue stripes on the index page).

But it's all good so far.

I like stark or at least I like simple. The current theme feels a little too stark.

When I set up the RPS forums, I chose the same forum manager as SketchUp and the same colors. (S that SketchUp users would find it familiar)

I believe this is the color scheme:

Perhaps it's 'too' white... try a muted white instead ?

You know, I thought something looked different. It's subtle, but there. The blues seem brighter and more noticable and there's an overall brilliance that wasn't there before.

A dirty white background or slightly colored one like Fred suggests would be better, I think.

Edit: I revised my vote from Bad to Other because I gave a color preference above.

                    I'm with TIG -- it's a bit to contrasty and eye-fatiguing (if that's a word).

Well if nobody wants to share an RGB I'm going to close this poll.

                      Try "off-white" R,G,B = 233,233,233

or any permuation of these +/- 13
