I'm making a book case for a Talmudic scholar and in order to enhance the model I made this component. It looks pretty good on the Mahagony shelves. At first I used the book component in the Architecture component library but it didn't have the right feel so I made this one.
Hope you like it and/or can use it.

Oooops! Sorry, forgot to attach the books component

Nice indeed, Gidon! Will have lots of uses, thanks for sharing!

Those look great, I saw a sliding ladder someplace that would work well with a few of those stacked bookshelves.

I put the bookcase itself up on the warehouse if anyone needs it.
I should probably put the books component there too, right? -
Thanks.

Here is a Half-French binding I once modelled. It's a bit high-poly, not suitable for building a library

Nice one Anssi.
What I was trying for with my component was to have a few books all together, like a set of encyclopedias. -
I thought I'd go ahead and make some more versions of the books component so that a library would look more interesting.

Thanks for the book components, Gidon.

My grandmother used to say:
"You can tell a lot about a person by how many books he has".
So now you can all make my grandmother very happy
All the best.
