I created a room volume by first laying out the floor plan in top view and then push up the layout to create the ceiling and walls. Now I can not select the floors, walls, etc individually to add unique fill to each. How can this be corrected?

Either they are grouped as he said or you smoothed the corners. Smoothing the corners would make the whole object be one solid face.

thanks, they were grouped. Now another issue I am having is how to scale components from the library. Can there dimensions be changed?

just use the "scale" tool and it will show up with a bunch of litle boxes on a frame around it.

grab one of the corners and drag it to increase or decrease the size.

              Hi folks.

Te resize components like doors and windows, for example, you may need to use the Move Tool to avoid changing the frame size while changing the door or window size.

              Just ideas.
