Beautiful Amsterdam

Had the chance to make more...

Very talented!
Have you ever visited the Amsterdam archive for inspiration on Amsterdam building details? https://archief.amsterdam/beeldbank/?mode=gallery&view=horizontal&page=1&fq[]=search_s_sk_documenttype:"bouwtekening"&reverse=0&q=&sort=random{1730826613397} asc
Greetings,
Bep -
Thanks, mates and dear Bep for sharing your thoughts and the link to the city archive. Amsterdam is an astounding miniature of sheer beauty and a lovely city full of architectural details to be discovered over a lifetime.
This is great I will benefit and I used to see some amazing drawings from the archive.
The postcards are not meant to be artistic or documentary. They are for a very helpful friend of mine who sells them to the city visitors ( https://www.fineartprints.nl/?srsltid=AfmBOorfvXMCOuFizu2hSoBIPPQRZ4jHzoSUkftRSBaOHGgtffN-DK4P). So I have to make them cheap in less time...Also some repetitive elements such as goblestones, canals, bridges, a bicycle, city lamps and boats must be included and all in all not bigger than A5 paper size, mainly A6!
I have to make many and not two the same... By the way an enjoyable thing to do. -
I already have shared a few watercolor videos on youtube and I hope you find them handy. Here is one of them ( mute the sound plz):

I spent some time finalizing and publishing a new short Skillshare course. This is after grand masters; James Fletcher-Watson and Edward Seago. I have tried to simplify and describe everything in detail:

Thanks, mates, This is heart-warming! I was thinking of having one-on-one sessions, in case anyone is interested in drawing/watercolor.
-
A huge bonus, having a 'resident' artist with us. Something new all the time which is a great thing to have.

Your stuff is so free and confident, and spontaneous mate

You don't need this . But I thought I would share anyway. I do understand how cathartic painting can be You may have a bit of fun

Thanks for sharing. Yet my resource images are BW and I change them due to the composition needs.

@Mike-Thanks for your compliments. I would be more than happy to share what I know. Okay's do it. If anyone is interested may write here or DM me.

I was thinking of a free demo, but maybe it could be for a very fair price as well. Plz share your preference.

A cool collection of what I think are among the best pictures of Amsterdam out there. I've picked out 18 of the most stunning photo's I could find.
is a beautiful spot to take photos in Amsterdam. This canal is one of the three main canals in the city. A great photo op is at the beginning of the Prince's Canal, or follow the canal further down as any point is simply stunning. As you walk the streets, you can feel the rich history of the city in everything around you. Enjoy Amsterdam, its culture, history, and beauty!
