Experimenting with the next D5 Render update 2.10 which is not to be confused with D5 2.1.

These renderings includes a moon, stars and the Milky Way galaxy which are customizable. These are located under environment: custom.

Also included is AI post processing for several effects and are here shown with the original render followed by “calm ocean” and “rough ocean” at the bottom.

The rocks are from Megascans and the ship is from Blenderkit via Blender 4.2. The Sketchup model is essentially 2 rather large planes.

That's kinda crazy to think about. Shows where we are headed in terms of what you put in and what you can get out.

Does this inpainting feature consider the elements in the scene or is it simply chucking in whatever prompt you use?

I prefer the top image because it has influence of the surroundings. Just interested to know if your inpainting prompt had enough info in it to get to match the scenes time of day etc.

Inpainting works on the image and as far as I can tell it does interact with visual cues like the rocks shown here.

There are several other water options and the only variable available is changing the seed number which I haven't experimented with yet to see how much a difference it makes.

Funny enough that the one you like is just the straight through rendering without any effects. The Inpainting effects loses the reflections of the moon and the Milky Way.

I figured the 1st was geometry based. It was the appearance of the water in the other that felt off in comparison to the scene.

Mainly how it was lit. That is why I was wondering if the prompt was the cause.

I have to admit to liking the first image.

I’m with Mike. I like the mood of the first image the best. 👍

Do you mind if I download that first image and use it in architectural renders?

Not for a while the washing machine has flooded the kitchen, loively.
