I've tried a bunch of ways to get this and it still 'works'.
As I mentioned we need to see your model or we just waste time guessing.

I try to attach SU file.

Component does not come in at 45 deg angle in which it was created or what I assumed to be created.

Classic case of not understanding what a component is.
Import your saved component and see how it is aligned.
A bit too tired just now to explain.
But your model is a closed version of your saved component and if you open it it will align with the world axis, but if you import or insert it into another model it will be at 45 deg.

          I agree 100% ... not understanding.

When I open in another drawing ... it does not come in at the 45 deg angle.

Thanks ( get some rest, ( smile )

The image below is from new drawing / model.
The components were saved to an external folder when created.

              @danna
You can see here the difference between Opening your file and Importing your file.

              Understanding components is a fundamental.

                Thanks for your time BOX.

But know where closer to understanding why mine does not work.

Hoping someone will come along and explain why mine does not work and how to fix it or help me understand.

                  Obviously wasted.

Good luck moving forward and finding someone you can understand.

                    Obviously wasted.

Surely not my intent ... just asking for someone to explain what I was doing wrong, to stop it from working for me.

If you set the component's axes to match its face then it's no longer rotated at 45° when it's saved out of the model.
Just leave its axes as the default [45° off the face], and then it'll import into another model rotated as you hope, because then the component's geometry is not exported as axial.

Thanks very much for explaining my error.
