      As nice as photoreal renders are, I almost always prefer clay rendering previews we send to our clients. This recent image was one of a long series that never went past clay because this architect prefers just to see the massing so her clients don't get distracted.

        I agree @jscottsmith they read much clearer and are less distracting. Plus its much easier pump out revisions without having to sort UVs etc.

        I still think Photoreal is needed but at conceptual design stage clay renders make the building detailing pop.
