[Plugin][$] FredoSpline - v2.6a - 01 Apr 24
-
Hi there
I hope this is the right place to post this, apologies if it isn't, and many thanks in advance for any help that can be afforded to me.
I have SketchUp 2022 installed (22.0.354 64-bit), along with FredoSpline 2.3a and LibFredo6 13.4a.
For some reason when I try to use FredoSpline, nothing happens, none of the buttons do anything. Any ideas? I've attached a gif that shows what I mean.
Many thanks.
Paul

I would recommend that you upgrade to LibFredo6 v13.5a. There was apparently a bug in v13.4 that prevented my plugins to work in some situations.

Fredo, I really miss ability to select multiple desired vertices on multiple splines and change their properties at once (radius in case of polycornerarc for example). Is it implementable?

Yu can act on several control points of one spline curve, but not on several curves. The edition is by curve. It would complex and prone to side-effects to edit multiple curves at the same time.

Thanks for info I didn't know it's possible to select several points with control key pressed.
And is it possible to add selecting with crossing window?@unknownuser said:

Too bad.. it's very limitating

This is what I'm seeing with the Instructor panel open.
What version of SketchUp are you using? What operating system? Please complete your forum profile. That information helps us help you.

I updated the version, but it prompts the following dialog, how can I make it work?
Error in the License Validation
Response from Sketchucation: License seats exceeded. -

Make sure the Sketchucation Tool is also up to date and then go into Tools>Fredo6 Collection>FredoSpline>License and release seats.
What version of SketchUp are you actually using? Your profile indicates a version that has never existed.

Response from Sketchucation: License seats exceeded. As said in a PM I sent you, you need to release at least one seat. You have 3 taken currently.

I've been using it on one of my own computers since I purchased the license, but every time I update it, it always tells me I need to activate it. After this update , it doesn't work, what am I doing wrong?

Again, what version of SketchUp are you using? There is no 2020 Free/Make version.
Did you correctly install whatever version you are using? On Windows that requires right clicking on the download installer and selecting Run as administrator. If you didn't do that Windows security can prevent required files from being written. Quit SketchUp, find the SketchUp installer, right click on it, choose Run as administrator, and when it is presented, choose Repair.

I have only SketchUp 2020 installed and I use a vpn proxy to access the internet, I don't know if it has any effect. I will try your method, thank you!

Fredo, In SU 2023, latest lib and FredoSpline..
I have problems with Convert command inside context it olny shows preview but doesn't allow to convert and exit. It works as expected if the same geometry is placed out of context. I PM you some example. Could you fix it please?
Yet another problem (not new one): Curves from FredoSpline can't serve as paths for Profile Builder Assemblies (unfortunately they need to be exploded), but do work with PB profiles. -
Could anybody try Convert tool inside context in v2023 please? Is it working for you?
This function is too important for me so I have to get back to 2022. -

This function is too important for me so I have to get back to 2022.It works for me.
Could you open the Ruby Console before launching the conversion, in case there are error messages.EDIT: I found the error, and this is specific to SU2023. It works in SU2022 as you mentioned. I need to investigate...
