Windows 7 Support
-
My PC is running on Windows 7. I installed the latest version of store plugin. But the plugin failed to login as the login form cannot show up. It turns out that the plugin uses IE to load the page. I set the default browser to Chrome. It doesn't work. I then uninstalled IE totally by disabling windows feature. It is not working either.
Is there a way to resolve this issue?
Appreciate for any help.

Does SketchUp Pro 2022 even work on Windows 7?

Any Windows installation must be allowed to run IE.
Do not disable it.
Many dialogs still use the WebDialog code which uses IE.
What your default web-browser is set to is unimportant and IE is always used anyway [unless you have uninstalled it somehow...]What SketchUp version are you trying to use ?
Does it work at all - i.e. without our toolset ?
If you have the Ruby Console open do you get any error messages when you try to run the SketchUcation tools' dialogs ? -
I installed sketchup 2022 pro on my PC which is running Windows 7. All other functions are running pretty well except this sketchudation store plugin. My laptop is running Windows 11 and I can use Fredo corner plugin with purchased license without any problem.
The Windows 7 PC had an IE8 installed before. I have tried to access the login page copied from the ruby script and the page failed to load due to some script error.
I'll see if I can get IE back and updated to newer version like IE 11 and see if I can resolve the issue.
