Extension Manager Not Showing Outdated Plugins
-
When I go to the Extension Manager (I am running SU 2020) it does not show me plugins/extensions that are out of date and give me the option to update to the latest version. In particular, I need to update all of my Fredo6 plugins. Why am I not seeing the option to update them?

Extension Manager only looks at extensions you installed from the Extension Warehouse. For extensions such as Fredo6's you should be using the Sketchucation Extension Store tool. If you used it to install the extensions in the first place, it would then be tracking and tell you that there are extensions to be updated. It'll also update them all when you choose.

DUH - but it is not showing all of my Fredo extensions - i.e. Animator. When I click on Animator, it says my license is expired. How do I renew it?

What's not showing all of your extensions?
Your license for Animator should not have expired. It might be that the file was corrupted. Find the e-mail with the license information and try adding the license again.

Thanks Darren, hope I get a chance to try that tomorrow.
If you look to the south , you should see a very bright red glow. I am truly embarrassed.

There is no license for Animator at the moment.
It might be that the plugin expired and that you need to get the latest version. -

It might be that the plugin expired and that you need to get the latest version.OK - it has been a long while now since I did any updating of plugins. So I am going to embarrass myself even more. Do I need to delete the existing version first? I did download the rbz file but that only works if I am installing via SketchUcation. So please remind me of the proper process for doing this. I will need to do this for some other Fredo6 plugins as well.
BTW: I did go look at the emails for license for some of your other plugins. I do not see that I saved the license info anywhere other than the license email. What should I do about there?
Look, I have been using SketchUcation and many of your plugins for several years. However, since I have not done any work for my sponsor for a couple of years now and recently, I have been dealing with some other situations my time with technology has been very limited. I am trying to get back into things but just keep embarrassing myself and hope you guys will be patient with me.

OK - I just went into the SketchUcation Tools and it now seems to be working fine. In fact, I now see that it is the latest version.
Not sure why there was a problem before, but I appreciate the responses.
