Anyone ever been annoyed when trying to scroll through walls in sketchup?
I have always thought "why does sketchup not fix known anoyances instead of the feeble "updates" trimble charges us for in the yearly updates. It seems like the cummunity can write skripts that trimble cannot or has no interest in fixing. Here is how to get around one of Sketchup's glaring navigation issues. -
Interesting. That's something that I've never had a problem with. Sometimes I actually leverage the ability to orbit inside to do things that would otherwise be difficult if not impossible.

It can be useful to go into a wall to look for stray imports for example, a real annoyance when that import is located a long way from it's own origin point. If I get lost in a wall while navigating I just zoom to extents which orients me properly again.

Hi, if it has its advantages, for my workflow under a cost/benifit analysis and the wear and tear on my midle finger and the wear on my mouse wheel GETTING STUCK IN WALLS is lost on me. And I did a google search many others have issues with it. If it works for you guys thats great
