      Hi mates.
Maybe some of you know that I come from a background that has been mixed with war, and tough situations caused by sanctions.
I think that all boundaries are sort of illusions that have shaped during a long history while in fact our lovely planet, earth, has no real boundary. Trees, mountains butterflies, and all beauties of nature are invaluable gifts and presents from mother nature. After my previous topic here and some warm compliments from you: https://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=179&t=72979 ,I came up with an idea: start painting nature images from all over the world and exhibit them.
I think may serve mutual understanding and therefore peace...
Some of the natural elements are iconic in a specific area or culture. I.e. in my culture "Mount Damavand" plays this role: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Damavand .
I need your attention, please: help me finding out these natural monuments or beautiful nature images from your mother-land. Also, it would be great if you please share images taken by yourself, loyalty free or if taken by someone else, acknowledged the author so that I could contact them and ask for permission. I think it takes at least two years for me to accomplish this project optimistically thinking one artwork per week.
I re-share the image from my previous topic that was liked more.
      Thanks in advance.

Ok, I like your work so here is one from me, mother nature took me very much by surprise with this one.
Taken from the fore deck of my boat in the waters around Sydney, it had been raining all day and it started to clear just as the day was drawing in. I was looking aft into the west at a rather spectacular sunset, fairly regular around here, when I glanced behind me into the east and was presented with this sunset rainbow.

Cheers Majid. Beautiful! How was that picture created?

I am not a photographer, but I have been fortunate to visit some great places. This view is from Muley Point above the San Juan river (winding down in those shadows below). Monument Valley to the left and Navajo Nation ahead across the canyon. This was our campsite.

Someday we'll be able to share in person.

This is the iconic image of my state of Utah. Delicate Arch. Utah is blessed with a lot of natural wonders, from Arches Nat'l Park, Bryce Canyon, Zion's Canyon, etc.

There are a ton of images out there so I am sure you can find one that could inspire your art.

... last July (2020), just arrived in Wimereux on the northern coast of France. The limestone cliffs of England's steep coast can be seen in the background

I knew it is a small distance, but was also so amazed. Btw, behind the ship, under the setting sun is America (not to be seen πŸ˜„ )

Great topic Majid and I love your pictures and art work, thanks for sharing. I am very lucky that I live right next to the Appalachian Mountains in Western North Carolina. I can be on a trial/hike in 30-45 minutes. Here is one of my favorite spots that I've been to all of my life, Stone Mountain NC. Such a wonderful place to enjoy nature. Here's a pic of a tree on the summit.

As M.L. King said: People fail to get along because they fear each other; they fear each other because they don't know each other; they don't know each other because they have not communicated with each other....
Thank you all for your beautiful images shared. πŸ‘ πŸ‘ πŸ‘ So now we have Box's spectacular image from Sydney (Australia),( I think this is the most challenging for me as my medium is watercolor), Pbacot's image from beautiful Colorado (USA),beautiful David_h's photo from Utah (USA), HornOxx's tranquil beauty from France, Summit tree by "Glen at home", that is really amaaaazing (USA again) (great place to live then...) . Oh mates this is great....I will start and share the result. I hope be lucky enough to have images from all around the globe. And this is amazing that they are (mainly) taken by you yourself. this means a lot to me.
                      Peace and love.

Are you looking for 'classic' beautiful scenes? I have walked the hills in decidedly dodgy weather and a mountain has a huge fascination when the weather turns, for me at least.

                                      Dear Mike,
My vision is to launch an online exhibition of all the paintings. I am not seeking nor "conventional" neither "classical" beauty... even am not in search of famous images from known photographers. This would be something that makes sense for us all at the end, such as these lovely images that have been shared till now. Photos that have been taken by us as amateur artists but makes sense for us. This won't be a formal exhibition at the end... So if you have an image that has a "meaning" for you, it'd be appreciated if share it with us.

Happy Nowruz mates. Thank you all for your warm replies, but as there were not enough images I asked some photographers for permission to paint over their works, on Instagram and most of them accepted kindly. Here I give up the topic but guess it might be still alive; a place to share the moments we loved the most or makes sense to us. Here are two images from where I live and a nearby park (Chitgar park).
