Hi, i am looking for a plugin that could slice an object in half like section view, but permanently.
Inbuilt solids tool won't work since a rectangle isn't a "solid" and i don't want to use a cube object to cut the other object.

        TIG_Split_to_plane

Will cut the selection, group or component, to a plane defined from 3 points. Each new selection will be either a group if the original was a group, or a new component if the original was a component.

If you split a group, you get two groups.

If you split a component, you get the original component and a new component. Showing the cut off piece.

Oops, didn't see you wanted this to be used on non-solides.

        Never mind.

Consider Zorro2 in the PluginStore - but it splits/deletes-half of everything... so copy the part into two new empty files first ??
