      Hi

I use Connecter from Design Connected to browse my library, and I'm quite sure that I normally could drag and drop assets directly into Sketchup, but now it seems not to be possible any more - or I might be wrong - it was never possible?

Has any of you any experience using drag and drop?

I've updated to SU 2020, and I think it might worked in SU 2019....

      Thanks πŸ˜„

On a PC you can drag-n-drop things [like images] from another app, e.g. directly into a SketchUp window provided that the apps share the same security clearances.
If you have inadvertently given an app like SketchUp elevated permissions [perhaps to overcome an incorrect installation?] that it might no longer allow dropped items from/into apps with a different permission level.
Typically these would include Windows-Explorer, but it could extend to many other apps.
        Any clue there ?

          Thanks TIG

That was the issue - I started Connecter as administrator, and now it works πŸ˜„

          Thanks

Connector is a 3DS Max plugin. I believe it is now also compatible with Blender & Cinema4D, but not Sketchup.
