I'm going to try a car this time
-
I can't stop playing with it.
I did not like the rear. This is better.

-
All the hidden geometry. Lots and lot of triangles.
Also started on the front end.

-
It's working for me so far.

-
Had an old cockpit and wheels I made from another project that I am using for interior and exterior scale.

-
More rear end details.
But nothing is set in stone right now. You will also notice some more side refinement near the front fender.
I can't believe I've gotten this far in just 3 days! Just a few years ago this would have taken me weeks to months.
I should note that I had made the wheels last year and the cockpit I made was an aircraft design I was working on 3 years ago.
Still, I can't believe how fast I'm making the body.

-
Fiddle, fiddle, fiddle. I just can't do a little.

Adjusting proportions and adding details.

-
I think you are going about it the right way, slowly adding things until it feels 'right' for you. If it's worth anything, I would have one.

-
Thanks Mike!
More adjustments to come. I hate those headlights.

-
Your making great progress

-
Thanks tuna!
-
Ah! I just remembered. The Mercury Merkur 4xti.
-
Still working out the front end.
Widened the roof pillar. Hid some more lines. Changed the side window back to the other shape.

-
Didn't like it so I simplified it again.

-
I kind of like this front end. Maybe a little more refinement, but it's very close.

-
Some minor details left then choosing a color.

-
How does blue look?

-
While the blue looks fine to me, given the style of the car I would expect for it to have a little more of a spaceship look. This might be more obvious in a rendered view, Again JMO.
I should also mention though that I think the design of the car is really neat, eye catching and something that Elan Musk might be interested in building.

-
Thanks! I'm not set on any particular color.
Most spaceships are white, which works as well.
So, white?
-
Here is a white version with black trim accents. (and some more refinements)

-
More front end refinement.
