Could someone with landscaping experience advise of the best Bill of Materials extension that exports to excel. I've tried 3 today and none of them were suitable for Landscaping projects, they seemed to be designed for metal/woodwork projects.

      Thank you.

I think they were named Open Cut List, 3Skeng and Wisext. I've used O.C.L in metalwork projects before, but it's just not suitable for Landscaping, and the other two seemed like a bit of a jumbled mess. There must be a simple solution.

What is it that you want to measure ?
            Areas, linear or items ?
There are several possible solutions, depending on what you need...

I primarily need to list areas (sq/mtr) per material so I can calculate the associated costs, plus I'll also need volumes (cubic mtr) in some cases too. I've not had to do this before so I was hoping there might be people here involved in landscaping who have and can save me a bit of time/heartache πŸ’š

There are of course commercial Extensions like 'Estimator' which could do this for you.

                Or for 'free'...

If you want to schedule selected faces' areas and output as CSV etc, then consider something like this -
                https://sketchucation.com/pluginstore?pln=FredoTools >>> ReportLabelText
Also note you'll need LibFredo6 installing.

My own https://sketchucation.com/pluginstore?pln=VolumeCalculator2 helps with calculation/CSV-reporting of volumes...

There is also Whaat's (Mind.Sight.Studios) Quantifier.
