      πŸ˜„ That's good. I think I'll use that title!

As for the screw thread, I start with a spiral at the major diameter and draw a profile face with the thread profile. Then use Eneroth Upright Extruder to extrude it.

You're quite welcome. Did that make sense? I was toying with the idea of a little video tutorial showing how I model machine threads but there may not be enough interest.

I did another model this afternoon. More threads. πŸ˜„

I think there would be a lot of interest myself.

Yes. Thanks. Even though I'm not familiar with Eneroth Upright Extruder, I can research it now that I know what was used. πŸ‘

A tutorial would be great if you have the time.

Bryan, I put together a video tutorial, such as it is. Take a look here when you are bored.

... as so often - sometimes I need a bit longer to translate for me meaningfully πŸ˜„ πŸ˜„

"Snow Clearing" iteself is already a nice word πŸ˜‰ but
"Snow Clearing Avoidance" is a cool word combination which I will remember now πŸ˜† πŸ˜†

and btw: any tut is welcome !!!!! πŸ˜„

                    Sorry for any confusion.

... my tactic often is to wait something longer - there are more and more responsible neighbors πŸ˜‰
And by the way - on Easter weekend we reached over 20Β°C, every snow that should come now has no constitutional rights anymore to be appreciated anyhow! πŸ˜„

It was T-shirt weather on Saturday. Snow on Sunday. Sunny early in the day on Monday then snow later and it's snowing right now. The snow has no rights as you say but it's here anyway.

                          Hey Dave,

I've always struggled to make threads. I've downloaded your video and will study it to see if it's something that I can actually use. But at this point I am assuming it will be over my head, like most things.

Can't complain about the snow this year here in southwest lower Michigan, been very mild. Unfortunately, that means a lot of wear on my snow tires, but I guess there's a tradeoff for everything.

Stay safe, and keep the good info coming.
