in Latest Version: 2.1.5 first three buttons always light up? in previous versions buttons fade out when nothing selected.

That was a deliberate change to due performance issues with very large models. Now the buttons are always enabled and will instead provide a messagebox if the selection is invalid.
That also addressed a somewhat common support question where people didn't know why the buttons were disabled.

Support for SketchUp 2021.
When only the patch version (the third digit) is updated it's only minor fixes/tweaks. Only minor and major version updates contains new features.
