The Visualizer website is down! Does anyone have a list of enhanced material names for the different reflection levels?

I only remember gloss and matte

I recall paint plastic / metal somewhere...

    thanks-heaps!

Has anyone been able to render a sand blasted/ frosted glass in Visualizer. I have tested lots of different ways and no proper results. I know the software is somehow limited in some ways, but I thought maybe someone has been successful with a setting for frosted glass or sand blasted glass that would actually render properly in Visualizer.

              Thanks

Not used for a long time but you can maybe use 2 transparent (or more) glassed surfaces each with different regulates? (not tested)

Else why not use the free Real Time Render SimLab Composer Lite ? (Maxi 1920 *1080)
It's many more powerful and so easy! πŸ˜‰

That's actually a good question. I have had visualizer for multiple versions of SU. I could generally activate it and disable with SketchUcation tools. That would indicate that an .rb is involved. I thought I just transferred the .rb for new versions. So I just looked. I cannot find an associated .rb in any of my versions, and it is not shown any longer in 2019 SketchUcation managers. So my guess is you must download the installer and install it to your system again.

Re downloading and installing, it's no good, I still have the last release and it does not install in Sketchup versions after 2015 out of the box. The method above works well though.

C/users/programdata/sketchup/sketchup version/plugins. The folder and rb are there.
