I got a model from the warehouse and I want to unsmooth it. Can I somehow? Also if there is a way to make the insides of the model have blank faces(No texture or anything.Just the backside of the face) that would be great. Thanks:)

You can select what you want to unsoften and in the Soften edges dialog (Window menu)99999, pull the slider to the left.

Also, Shift+Ctrl+Erase will unsoften individual edges (turn on hidden geometry to see them in the View menu).

      Gai...

What would be great to have is "Fix Stupid Warehouse Models.rb" 😆
Sorry, had to get that out. Since some of the problems are predictable, seems a script could be devised.
The way I would correct the faces in the most direct fashion is to orbit inside the volume, paint the problem faces with default face color/texture. Or temporarily delete an outside face so that you can see inside to change the face color/texture of several faces in view. Or erase the problem face and redraw it after doing the internal corrections.

Edit: Of course, if the warehouse model is large and complex this is obviously time consuming.
Shortly, perhaps someone will post with a better answer.

I take the slow, deliberate approach in my aimless wandering.

When I don't want a texture and selecting each object to change it to the default one, I directly delete them from the materials window (right click, delete material). It will ask if I want to aply the default material to the faces using that texture.
If I will need this texture later, I open a new document and copy paste objects with the textures I'll need, so I can use them later. Maybe not the best way, but it is fast and makes what I need 😄

I came to this thread hoping to find an answer to a similar problem. I cut/pasted a portion of a large model into a new drawing in order to manipulate it in a smaller file size. When I did this, a number of the lines auto-softened.

Running the aforementioned slider all the way to 0 did not solve the problem. Grouping everything and then exploding it, did.

Perhaps the lines weren't softened but were hidden instead? Or is it possible those edges were actually on another layer in your original model?

I seem to remember Artisan will allow you to 'roughen' (i.e. opposite of smooth) a mesh. I forget how though, but might be worth a look.

Make sure edges are turned on in styles window go to view -edge style, check profiles and edges.
