Playing with FredoScale Taper. I think the reult is pretty neat

Hi hepf, nice work mate will you be intergrating it into a larger model? I wish I would have used that plugin as some time back I was playing around with a tassilated dome in native SU by off setting and extruding the surfaces by hand. Had I known...................
-
both good examples but I don't grasp how Fredo Scale helps with your shown dome constructions in particular. Only for dummies like me could you please describe in more detail where and how is this tool used here?
-
A very nice result, well done. More details please.
-
What HornOxx said..... scratching my head over exactly how you used Fredoscale on this ? Great result though
-
I did it hurriedly, so the circular angle is a bit off measure, but you gtet the idea ...
-
I'll try to place the dome on a building loosely inspired on Michelangelo's scheme for St. Peter
-
wow ! keep posting how you go on
-
some more ...

Looks great! som impressive modeling there! Nice style too.
-
Incredable work looks great Do you have any guess of how many hours went int that to date? Just curious.
-
Don't know how long it took, but probably less than you'd think, maybe twelve hours, in bits and pieces. It's very modular, one slice of 45 degrees, mirror once, rotate and copy three times. In the images I only show half, but obviously I can mirror the whole thing and get the complete interior.
I think this will be it for the time being, maybe I'll try to export it to Blender or Daz Studio and make a video ...

Very nice, mate. Rock on.

Cool result!
