E-Mail Change
-
I think you can do that under "settings"-->"profile"-->"account settings" and there you should be able to change your email address.
-
massimo,
Large thanks for the reply. I went to 'settings', account settings' and all I got was a blank SU screen with a small box for 'log out'.
Maybe I should just start a new Account?
Again, thank you!

I sent you a PM nearly 24 hours ago as I write this. I offered to help you get your e-mail address changed.

Have you already tried to log out and then log in again and do what I have suggested?

Dave R,
I didn't get the your e-mail 'cause my old e-mail is corrupted and unstable. Seems that a 'foreign' entity nuked the address with nefarious crud.
Sorry that happened. I'll try to contact you with a good address.
And for massino.... Yes I tried to log out and go back in.

Great. Now I just wonder why he couldn't change his email address by himself...
-
I don't know. I suppose it's the way the forum software is set up. Even as an forum administrator I can't change my own e-mail address by accessing my profile through the normal user route.
-
Didn't try to go to the end, to submit some changes I mean, but so this doesn't work?
-
Mike indicated he got a blank window. I do too. I don't know anymore than that, though.
-
Hey Guys,,,, All is well and happy again. Good job to both of you!!

I just have to say that, when I was about 3 YO I used to carry a cat around by the neck and it would just hang there limp without protest. We renamed it poor damn cat
-
Joe,
Yup, some cats are OK. Our DamaTheCat lived to be a ripe old 19 year old. She was a Tortie and also could be carried around like your PDC.
Before she passed she, with a little help form us, raised a 6 week old mix breed pup we found on the side of the road in Baja. We still have and love the Pup which is marvelous except for the traits that Dama instilled in her during the pup's childhood.
This cat of ours we called Dama, but her real name was 'Ookedama' which is Japanese for 'Most Honorable Hair Ball'.
Critters are a pain, but it's hard to live without them once you have had them around. Thanks for the comment.
Bye Now,
Mike
