Thanks, but the design credit goes to Junji Obuko. I'm just recreating it. I'll post the original sketch when I'm done.

Remember, the key here is simple shapes, some a little angled, combined to make seemingly complex models.

I also just fiddle with it an hour or two each day. I've learned that for me, too many hours all at once makes me lose sight of my end goal and also creates mistakes that have to be fixed later.

well spoken Mike so I need to improve my English vocabulary for this series here

Bryan, I love these ship-like frame struts inside the hangar (is it one or the intake of an engine?)

It is a hanger. The struts are very simple.

In the second picture I've just today, reduced the thickness, did a small offset and then push pull, both front and back.
