Can anyone help me here?(insert your own obvious punchline here)
I'm looking for a decent software for dumping my Thea Animation slides to create a test AVI or whatever. I don't do this a lot so I was just wondering if there is a freebie out there or a trial type that could just show me some test results.
Thx,
David_H
Try the trial version of Keyframe Animation plugin or the trial version of SimLab Composer. Depending on the type of animation, you can also look at the trial versions of Lumion, LumenRT, or Twinmotion. All of these tools will allow you to create movies of your animations.

What kind of animation? Thea can produce animations itself, e.g.

I use Natron for that and some simple tonemapping, it's opensource, lightweight and simple, evolving fast but already very good:
You can go with free but widelly used and very advanced Fusion and then when you open your blockbuster house go for Fusion Pro...:

The main difference between both free versions is the support for OpenFX effects, wich is very important for people that wouldn't ask wich software to use in this case...

Thanks for these responses. I am not sure if these would help me or not.
My thea Animation render created a whole grundle of images to compose into an animation .. a simple turntable type test. . .I need to dump those into an animation software. I had one at one time but I can't remember what it was called. IT was like Movie maker but obviously menat for making a little movie rather than a slide show.
Thx

Just select all images, copy, then open the above and paste all images and it will automatically set up the animation.

Thanks Pete. I got that and it seems to work. My animation stinks. .but I got it to work.

for future reference, I think you were looking for a video editing software, like vegas or premiere, or one of various freeware alternatives
-
Yeah. . .probably. Sometimes one doesn't even know what to ask for. Thanks

Here is a good deal available for a limited time:
Does everything in video editing you need including a great screen capture app.

I use Blender to create movies with captions, effects etc etc. Works just fine.
