Where was that switch?
-
I finally found the check-box that hides the rest of the model while editing a group. I vaguely remember that it was in a funny spot. Now I realise that it isn't always best and it would be good if I could remember where that was so that I could toggle it on and off. I've searched everywhere.
Can anyone remind me where that was? -
Window>Model Info>Components.
I frequently use other components in the model for reference when editing a component so having the rest of the model hidden while editing isn't a good thing for me, either.

View > Component Edit > Hide Rest of Model... ON/OFF
Good for a shortcut-key.Works with editing Groups AND Components.

Ooh, nice, thanks guys and good tip, TIG. I've got ctrl+Shft+h toggling it now.
