That's one of the most interesting things about your work... It looks like it would be intense geometry, but it's the incredible texture work that sells such simple geometry. Bravo...

I believe the last thing to add to your projects is life. Maybe this is the way you want it, but, for example, those chariots yield for some pairs of horses.
            Otherwise lovely !

              Thanks Kriss. πŸ˜›
Thanks Elisie, your correct but where would I find the the appropriate models and costumes to populate this model. Adding realism and life to a model is difficult with certain subjects and I've yet to see a car model splattered in seagull shite for added effect.... πŸ˜’

You are right, indeed is hard or impossible to find what you need for these projects.

                      A perfect 10.

It's hard to work on my projects when I see what you have achieved.

Remember John, you promised to write a book (a series of books, actually), make about 100 detailed how-to videos, and make your entire texture library available to me for download.

Ok, maybe it wasn't an actual promise, more of a wish list on my part. But I'm still holding you to it.

Well you know he has written some books, in the Sketchucation store.

These are beautiful John! Like the second especially. (need some 3d horses now). Sort of a new direction in your work I think.

I read this as 'Ryanair' !

However spectacular as always. Did you ever post your process of creating these render types? How much is post Pro and how much is the actual render itself?

                                Thank you everyone.

Liam, here's the untouched render output, each model took two shifts but the top one has two buildings repeated (to pad the left hand side/top of the street). Post pro was 1 1/2 on no.2 and around 3 1/2 on no.1. The first image has a lot more hand weathering which is the part I enjoy the most πŸ˜›

People keep asking for a walk through, hand on heart I cannot imagine that i do anything different to anyone else, infact it's harder for me to model than it is for you lot πŸ˜’

I will happily produce a new updated version as I have plenty of time ATM but I need some suggestions/ideas from members.

                                Thanks

I suggest people get your books first. So you did these in about 16 hours (modeling) each? Impressive! The raw renders and models are informative in themselves.

Phew I'm glad you said that πŸ˜› saves me racking my brain. The two models/renders were complete in 5 shifts, nothing is rigid it was just a case of eyeing things up.
